dvds- November, Three Extremes DVD's, Night Watch in theaters

I just rented the Dvd November with Courtney Cox and James Le Gross. Shot on DV, this low budget indie was a decent rent. An interesting plot involving a convience store shooting which leaves Cox's boyfriend dead, or is he? Or did she have a part in it? Or is it all in hear head? The film lags at times but has an interesting feel and does keep you attention while it keep you guessing. Check it out if you're a fan of thrillers.
Also check out my review of the new two disc DVD of 3 Extremes on PodCasterNews.com.

Also, it looks like the Fox distribution of the Russian Film NIGHT WATCH seems like it is near. I attended an advance screening of it last night and it is definately worth checking out. Although it is a tad predictable at times, and it isn't completely worth the hype, I really enjoyed it. The style is amazing, dark, funny, and fresh. keep an eye out for it in theaters soon, and check out my review of it at PodCasterNews later this week.

three...extremes dvd

I just picked up the Three...Extremes dvd yesterday. For some reason Best Buy put it out on the shelves a week early (it's not supposed to come out until tues the 28). Anyway, i have seen it, but this has an extra disc with the full 90 minute version of the segment Dumplings, directed by Friut Chan from Hong Kong. That was by far the best of the three segments. I'll be reviewing this for Left Of Center this weekend for monday or tuesday, so check it out.

Also, some of the podcasts on Podcasternews.com (mine included) are going to have HBO sponsoring for a few weeks. I can't say any more right now, but i can talk about this coming week.
